Buchu Leaves (Bucco folium)
Parts Used: Leaves.
Uses: Urinary antiseptic, of use in cystitis and urethritis. A weak diuretic.
Lessens inflammation of the colon, gums, mucous membranes, prostate, sinuses, and vagina. Helps control bladder and kidney problems, fluid retention, and prostate disorders, diabetes, digestive disorders. A specific for bladder infections.
Comments: Do not boil buchu leaves.
Common Goldenrod Herb (Solidaginis Herba)
Parts used: Stems
Uses: Anti-inflammatory, expectorant, astringent, weakly diuretic.
Used in urino-genital inflammations or to treat chronic skin problems.
Marigold Flowers (Calendulae Flos Cum Calyce)
Parts used: Flower-heads
Uses: Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, cholagogue, styptic, possibly emmenagogue.
Willow (Epilobii Herba)
Parts used: Stems
Uses: In difficulties in urination (in benign prostate hyperplasia), anti-inflammatory effect (in cases of kidney and urinary tract diseases).
